According to the statistics website “Sofascore,” the last line of defense for the Atlas Lions secured 17th place in this ranking, thanks to an impressive rating of 7.9 out of 10.

A stellar performance by the Moroccan shot-stopper, who played a key role in the hard-fought 1-1 draw against Real Madrid.

As a reminder, the Montreal-born keeper made 13 saves in the Club World Cup, including a penalty stop against the Madrid giants, along with eight saves from shots inside the penalty area.

The Moroccan goalkeeper featured in 47 matches across all competitions this season, conceding 53 goals and recording 16 clean sheets.
