Orlando Pirates want to sign a highly sought-after Zimbabwean star: Who he is!

After Orlando Pirates skipped the last winter transfer window without signing a single name, it looks like the work has begun in order to bring in the right names before the start of the new season.

It has been reported that the club's board wants to sign a Zimbabwe Premier League star who is turning heads on the African continent with his performances for Highlanders FC, namely young Prince Ndlovu.

Former Orlando Pirates player to return to the Pirates!

In fact, Prince Ndlovu had a trial run with pirates in 2023, at the age of 16. But that trial was short-lived when an offer came in from Europe, but luckily that offer and the dream of playing in Europe was short-lived.

The Zimbabwean star then had a stellar spell with Highlanders FC in the Zimbabwean league, only to fall on Orlando Pirates' radar once again.

Orlando Pirates reportedly want to see the star player play for Zimbabwe in the Cosafa Cup on Wednesday, June 4th.

He trained with Pirates in March 2023 and and at that time he was only 16-years-old. He was preparing to go to Europe but things didn’t work out. It’s believed that since then Pirates scouts have apparently been monitoring him and now they are willing to give him a chance at the team. They have kept tabs on him and they are impressed by his progress at Highlanders FC in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe,
