Peseiro Out, Al Ramadi In: Zamalek Announce Coaching Shake-up

Zamalek SC's officially terminated the contract of Portuguese coach Jose Peseiro by mutual consent, just months after his appointment.

Official Statement & Quick Change

The club announced the decision via its official X account, stating:

“Zamalek and Peseiro've mutually agreed to part ways. We wish him all the best in the future”

Peseiro 65, took charge of the team in Feb 2025 on deal running until Jun 2026. Under his leadership, Zamalek played 13 match across all competitions this season registering 6 win, 6 draw and just 1 defeat.

Ayman Al Ramadi Takes Over

Zamalek didn’t waste time finding a replacement, confirming former Ceramica Cleopatra coach Ayman Al Ramadi as the new head coach until the end of the current campaign.

In the same announcement, the club also accepted the resignation of Abdel Wahed El Sayed as director of football thanking him for his services and wishing him continued success.

Zamalek unveiled the revamped technical team:

  • Ayman Al Ramadi – Head Coach
  • Wael El Quabbani – Director of Football
  • Ayman Abdelaziz – Assistant Coach
  • Ahmed Samir – Assistant Coach
  • Hazem Emam – Assistant Coach
  • Emad El Mandoh – Goalkeeping Coach
  • Mario Tomljanovic – Fitness Coach
  • Mohamed Alaa – Performance Analyst

The club confirmed that the medical & administrative teams will remain unchanged.
