Police FC crowned champions of Kenya

June 15, 2025, will go down as a landmark day in Kenyan football history. By defeating Shabana Kisii 1-0 in the penultimate round of the league, Police FC clinched the first national title in the club’s history.

With 64 points collected over 33 matches, 37 goals scored and only 16 conceded, Police FC demonstrated remarkable consistency. Even more impressively, the Nairobi-based club has brought an end to 14 years of near-total dominance by Gor Mahia and Tusker FC. A change of guard. A new order.

This triumph also secures an unprecedented ticket to the 2025/26 CAF Champions League. It will be the club’s first continental adventure, and Police FC will now have to prove their new status against well-established rivals.

Kenyan football welcomes a new champion.
