Premier League Announces April Player of the Month Nominees, with Some Surprising Absentees
The Premier League's officially revealed the list of Player of the Month nominees for April and it includes standout performers from across the division , with some notable absentees.
Among the names's Algerian left back Rayan Ait Nouri who impressed with Wolverhampton Wanderers, alongside teammate Jorgen Larsen.
The Liverpool duo also earned recognition, most notably Alexis Mac Allister, key figure in their title winning campaign.
April ended on high for Liverpool who claimed their 20th league title with dominant 5 - 1 win over Tottenham at Anfield.

Salah & Marmoush Snubbed
In surprising move Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush were left out of the shortlist despite their influence at club level.
Their performances in April, however were deemed not impactful enough by the league to warrant nomination.
Last month’s award went to Man United’s Bruno Fernandes but new name could emerge this time with strong cases for Wolves & Villa players in particular.
The winner will be decided through fan votes combined with expert panel input and the result is expected next week.
