The specialized website football-ranking has released the new provisional ranking of the International Federation of Football (FIFA).

The matches of the 5th day of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup concluded on Saturday with a final clash between Sudan and Senegal.

Below is the African top 10 of the new provisional FIFA ranking according to the calculations of the football-ranking website.

1- Morocco

2- Senegal

3- Egypt

4- Algeria

5- Nigeria

6- Ivory Coast

7- Tunisia

8- Mali

9- Cameroon

10- South Africa

It should be noted that the official ranking will be published by the official FIFA website on April 3.

It will take into account the matches of the 6th day of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers, which will begin on Sunday, March 23.

The FIFA ranking is of great importance as it has become the main criterion for classifying national teams in the draws for various tournaments.
