PSG: Achraf Hakimi takes another jab at Real Madrid after qualification

Asked about his past in the mixed zone after PSG's humiliation of Real Madrid on Wednesday night, Achraf Hakimi took another swipe at the Madrid side.

After PSG's stunning 4-0 victory over Real Madrid, Achraf Hakimi was questioned about his time in Madrid by Claude Makélélé. The Frenchman joked and said: "How can you let a player like you go?" The Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi replied bluntly: "It wasn't my decision."

As a reminder, Hakimi came up through the ranks at Real Madrid, where he made 17 appearances across all competitions and even won the Champions League in the 2017-2018 season. He was loaned out to Dortmund in 2018, then transferred to Inter Milan in 2020, before eventually becoming a PSG player.
