Paris Saint Germain are on the brink of making history , on and off the pitch , as they prepare to face Chelsea this Sunday in the final of the 2025 Club World cup under its new 32 team format.

Thrashing Real Madrid Secures Final Spot

PSG booked their place in the final with a stunning 4 - 0 win over Real Madrid in the semi final on Wednesday. The emphatic victory also unlocked major financial reward.

Breakdown of PSG’s Earnings

According to Le Parisien, the Ligue 1 giants have already secured 91.6 million euro through combination of participation bonuses and stage based progress:

  • 27.2M euro for tournament participation
  • 3.4M euro for 2 group stage wins
  • 6.4M euro for reaching the Round of 16
  • 11.8M euro for the quarter finals
  • 17.8M euro for the semi finals
  • 25.6M euro for advancing to the final

Bonus for the Trophy

If PSG triumph over Chelsea in Sunday’s final, they'll receive additional 34.08 million euro bringing their total tournament earnings to just over 125 million euro.

Biggest Prize Pool in FIFA Club History

This year, FIFA allocated 1 billion dollar in total prize money with half distributed among the 32 competing clubs. The winning team stands to take home record financial haul in club football.
