Paris Saint-Germain wrapped up their domestic season in style, sweeping aside Reims 3-0 in the Coupe de France final. It was a one-sided affair, allowing the Parisians to lift yet another trophy—and, crucially, to build confidence ahead of the biggest date on their calendar: the Champions League final against Inter Milan.

Reims tried to catch PSG off guard early, with a thunderous strike from Amadou Koné in the 6th minute. But Matvey Safonov was alert and parried the danger away. That would be the only real scare for Luis Enrique’s men. Then, the Barcola show began. In the 16th minute, Désiré Doué slipped in a pinpoint pass for the winger, who coolly slotted past the keeper (1-0).

Three minutes later, déjà vu: another sharp cross from Doué, Barcola is alone at the back post and calmly finishes (2-0). Before the break, Achraf Hakimi capped off the first-half spectacle. On a perfectly weighted ball from Barcola, he unleashed a crisp strike that beat the Reims keeper (3–0, 43’). The game was put to bed—and so was the cup.

The second half was a mere formality. Barcola missed out on a hat-trick, and Dembélé struck the post—but the play was ruled offside anyway. Nothing could unsettle the Parisian composure. With this latest trophy, Paris clinches the domestic double. But the real target lies ahead: in just a few days, PSG will play Inter Milan in the Champions League final. That’s where they’ll have to truly prove themselves.
