RC Lens vs Como: channel to follow the match and probable lineups
On Wednesday evening, RC Lens are preparing to return to the Champions League for a very important home fixture. Les Sang et Or will welcome Italian side Como to the Stade Bollaert-Delelis. This is the fourth matchday of the league phase.
Following two defeats, Lens will be aiming to pick up points and remain in the race for qualification against an increasingly impressive Italian side. Kick-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. at the Lens stadium.
Como, an unpredictable opponent
It should be noted that after three matches, Como sit ninth with six points, while Lens are 27th with three points. The Italians have won two of their first three matches, including dominant victories over RB Leipzig (4-1) and Manchester United (4-1). On matchday three, they lost to Feyenoord (3-2). Meanwhile, Yannick Cahuzac's men began with a hard-fought victory over Slavia Prague (3-2), before suffering two defeats against Sporting CP (0-2) and Club Brugge (3-0).
The Artésiens will need to be more solid defensively if they are to halt their current European run and climb the standings.
Probable lineups
Tonight, Yannick Cahuzac will be without Abdallah Sima, Maik Nawrocki, Ismaëlo Ganiou and Odsonne Edouard, all of whom are injured. Como, for their part, have several attacking options. Young Argentina international Nico Paz is highly anticipated in the team's build-up play, while Croatia's Martin Baturina and Greece's Anastasios Douvikas also represent threats to the Lens defence. Cesc Fàbregas' men, who impressed against Manchester United on the previous matchday, will look to continue their rise on the continental stage.
RC Lens (3-4-2-1): Risser - Gradit, Baidoo, Antonio - Abdulhamid, Cuisance, Haidara, Udol - Thauvin, Ivanovic - Hazard
Como (4-2-3-1): Butez - Couto, Ramon, Kempf, Valle - Milla, Perrone - Da Cunha, Nico Paz, Baturina - Douvikas
