FC Porto host Napoli this Wednesday, November 4, 2026, on matchday four of the Champions League league phase. An important match for both teams, who are looking to collect points on the European stage. African fans will be following the possible starts of Zaidu Sanusi for the Portuguese side and Zambo Anguissa for the Italian club in particular.

Porto expected to rely on its attacking trio

Francesco Farioli is expected to opt for a 4-3-3 formation. The Portuguese coach could particularly entrust André Silva, Sainz and Pepê with leading the attack. In midfield, Froholdt, Rosario and Gabriel Veiga are expected to start. In defence, Zaidu Sanusi could occupy the left flank, alongside Bednarek, Kiwior and Alberto Costa. Diogo Costa is expected to start in goal.

Probable lineup for Porto (4-3-3): Diogo Costa – Alberto Costa, Bednarek, Kiwior, Zaidu Sanusi – Froholdt, Rosario, Gabriel Veiga – André Silva, Sainz, Pepê.

Anguissa expected in Napoli's midfield

For Napoli, Massimiliano Allegri could favour a 3-5-2 formation. Zambo Anguissa is expected to be named in the starting XI, alongside Gilmour and Scott McTominay in midfield. Noa Lang and Matteo Politano are expected to occupy the flanks, while Rasmus Højlund could partner Giovane in attack.

Napoli must nevertheless cope with several absences, notably those of Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Mathías Olivera. Kevin De Bruyne, who has returned to full-team training, could start the match on the bench. Probable lineup for Napoli (3-5-2): Meret – Beukema, Rrahmani, Rafa Marín – Politano, Anguissa, Gilmour, McTominay, Noa Lang – Højlund, Giovane.
