Brentford and Bournemouth competing for Eddy Kouadio
Eddy Kouadio could soon attract increased attention from English clubs. Aged 20, the Fiorentina-owned defender is reportedly being closely monitored by Brentford and Bournemouth, two teams interested in his profile. Currently on loan at Monza since July 2026, the young player represents a prospect to watch in the transfer market, although no official offer has been mentioned at this stage.
Brentford and Bournemouth on the lookout
Brentford are reportedly showing strong interest in Kouadio. The London club are already familiar with Fiorentina, having previously completed a deal with them to sign Michael Kayode. For their part, Bournemouth are also said to be keeping a close eye on the defender’s situation.
The English club are renowned for their close monitoring of the Italian market and could seek to take advantage of developments in the situation to strengthen their defensive unit. Competition between the two teams could therefore intensify if their interest leads to approaches to Fiorentina.
A player under contract until 2030
Eddy Kouadio is under contract with Fiorentina until June 2030. His loan spell at Monza runs until June 2027, meaning that his future will depend in particular on the Italian club’s intentions and the continuation of his development.
According to Transfermarkt’s estimate, his current market value stands at €6 million. The English clubs will therefore need to assess the terms of a potential transfer and the player’s room for development before going any further. For now, no completed negotiations have been announced.
