Victor Osimhen continues to make headlines in Europe. The Galatasaray striker is among the names being discussed as part of Juventus’ search for attacking reinforcements. Marco Borriello, a former Italy international, has shared his analysis of the Bianconeri’s needs and the profile of the Super Eagle.

Borriello sees Osimhen as an interesting option

For Marco Borriello, Juventus must bring in a genuine number 9 to strengthen their attack. The former Italian striker notably mentioned Osimhen, whose experience in Serie A is an asset:

I would like a great number 9. Osimhen? Perhaps. He knows Serie A and Spalletti.

The Nigerian striker played for Naples before joining Galatasaray. His knowledge of the Italian league could therefore make a potential adaptation easier should he return to Serie A. Borriello nevertheless believes that Juventus must look beyond a single name. In his view, the club needs a top-class goalscorer to return to the summit.

This season, Osimhen has scored nine goals and provided three assists in nine matches. At 27, he is thus confirming his importance in Galatasaray’s attack. His efficiency in front of goal and his experience of Italian football make him a profile likely to interest several major clubs.
