RC Strasbourg still captivated by Karl Etta Eyong

RC Strasbourg has not yet given up on the Karl Etta Eyong pursuit. Already interested this winter, the Alsatian club’s management could return to the fray this summer in an attempt to secure the services of the Cameroon U21 international.

After an impressive season with Villarreal FC’s reserve team, Karl Etta Eyong racked up 18 goals and provided 6 assists in 32 matches across all competitions. These statistics confirm the potential of the 21-year-old, who remains under contract with the Spanish club until June 2027.

According to information from Relevo, Strasbourg made an initial offer of 5 million euros last January. While negotiations did not succeed at the time, the French club is reportedly preparing to return this summer with a stronger proposal to convince Villarreal to part ways with their attacking gem.
