Real Madrid: Enzo Maresca wants to bring Brahim Diaz back to Manchester City!
Manchester City’s incoming head coach, Enzo Maresca, is already shaping his first transfer plans and has identified Brahim Díaz as a priority target, according to TeamTalk.
Maresca has long admired the Moroccan international’s style of play. Díaz began his senior career at City’s academy and even made appearances for the first team before moving to Real Madrid in 2019 for €18 million.
This season, the 26‑year‑old winger has made 42 appearances for Los Blancos, scoring two goals and providing nine assists. He remains under contract at the Bernabéu until 2027, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €35 million.
Now, Maresca is pushing for a reunion. Whether Madrid are willing to part with Díaz remains to be seen, but the player’s history at City and the coach’s admiration for him could give the Premier League champions an edge in negotiations. A summer move may be on the cards.
