Real Madrid: Rodrygo wants to slam the door!

The tension is rising at Real Madrid! Rodrygo Goes, the Brazilian gem of Los Blancos, is seriously considering packing his bags.

According to the well-informed Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, speaking on the set of El Chiringuito, the Brazilian winger is deeply frustrated with how he was treated during the recent Copa del Rey final against FC Barcelona.

Rodrygo furious with Carlo Ancelotti

Substituted early by Carlo Ancelotti, Rodrygo reportedly hasn’t come to terms with the Italian manager’s decision. The 20-year-old feels he was unfairly singled out, believing his first-half performance was on par with his teammates.

Again according to Eduardo Inda, the Brazilian is now considering leaving the Madrid club, despite a contract running until 2028: "He is very angry after what happened at La Cartuja, and is no longer ruling out the idea of leaving Real to respond to certain offers," the journalist revealed. Video:

Manchester City calling for Rodrygo?

Among his options, Manchester City is leading the race. The prospect of joining up with Pep Guardiola, a coach he has long admired, is especially appealing. "Let's not forget there have been contacts between Rodrygo and City in the past," Inda reminds us.

With 13 goals this season, Rodrygo remains a solid asset for Madrid, but he is still in the shadow of Vinicius Junior (20 goals) and the newly arrived Kylian Mbappé, who has already netted 33 times.

Facing fierce competition and mounting frustration, the Brazilian international could be set to take on a new challenge... perhaps under Manchester’s skies.
