Real Madrid have completed their 4th summer signing in response to the team’s humiliating 4 - 0 defeat to Paris Saint Germain in the 2025 FIFA Club World cup semi final according to multiple reports.

Carreras Deal Finalized

Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Madrid have reached full agreement with Benfica to sign Alvaro Carreras. The deal's reportedly worth 50 million euro, to be paid in installments rather than as lump sum.

The only step remaining's for Man United , Carreras' former club , to officially decline the activation of their buy back clause. Once cleared, the Spanish full back will fly to Madrid to complete the move.

Fourth Addition for Real Madrid

Carreras becomes the 4th new signing for Los Blancos this summer, joining:

  • Trent Alexander Arnold
  • Dean Huijsen
  • Franco Mastantuono

With pressure mounting after their shock Club World cup exit, Madrid's management's acting swiftly to reinforce the squad & restore the club’s competitive edge ahead of the new season.
