Real Sociedad: Nayef Aguerd wants to stay

As his loan spell draws to a close, Nayef Aguerd is making no secret of his desire to continue his journey in Spain. The Moroccan center-back, who spent this season on loan from West Ham at Real Sociedad, is eager to remain at the Basque club on a permanent basis.

According to reports, the 29-year-old international has already communicated his wish to the London club's management. It's a reasonable ambition after a strong campaign in which he made 36 appearances across all competitions wearing the Real shirt.

It now remains to be seen whether the two clubs can reach an agreement for a permanent transfer during the summer window.
