Rodrygo denies departure rumors and reassures fans!
Brazilian star Rodrygo Silva de Goes, Real Madrid’s forward, has been at the center of intense speculation regarding his future with the Madrid giants.
In recent days, multiple rumors have swirled about a possible exit, notably a staggering offer from Saudi club Al-Hilal, as reported by Spanish newspaper Marca. According to the daily, the proposal would exceed €100 million, although the exact figure was not disclosed.
Rodrygo sets the record straight: “Stop making up stories!”
On Wednesday, Rodrygo publicly addressed these persistent rumors for the first time. In a story posted on his official Instagram account, he wrote: “Thank you to everyone who checked in on me. I’ll be back soon. Stop making up stories.”
Absent from the pitch since April 26, the Brazilian striker’s time away has fueled speculation, with some suggesting a possible rift with manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Rodrygo was notably left out of the squad for the match against Celta Vigo. Ancelotti explained the decision as merely due to a minor illness.
For the record, Rodrygo joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 from Brazilian club Santos, in a transfer estimated at around €45 million.
