A new chapter begins in the Ronaldo dynasty! Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the eldest son of Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has just received his first-ever call-up to the Portuguese U15 national team.

At just 14 years old, the young forward will don the Seleção shirt for the Vlatko Markovic International Tournament, set to take place from May 13 to 18 in Croatia.

Currently training at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia—the same club as his famous father—Cristiano Jr. continues to follow in the footsteps of CR7.

Before this, the young teenager had already developed in the prestigious youth academies of Manchester United and Juventus, accompanying his father on his European adventures.

Cristiano Jr. out to prove himself

For this tournament in Croatia, the Portuguese team will face some tough opponents: England, Japan, and Greece. It's a fantastic opportunity for Cristiano Jr. to showcase his talent on the international stage and perhaps, one day, dream of lining up alongside his father in Portugal's iconic colors.

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has now released the squad list for the event. Among the selected players:

  • Al-Nassr: Cristiano dos Santos Aveiro
  • CS Fola Esch-Alzette: Daniel Freire
  • FC Porto: Emiliano Cassamá, Gonçalo Fontes, Gonçalo Santos, Henrique Maduro, João Lopes, Salvador Ribeiro, Tiago Caires
