Saudi, MLS Lead Race for De Bruyne as Liverpool Rumors Swirl


Liverpool are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Manchester City icon Kevin De Bruyne on free transfer in the upcoming summer window amid shock developments surrounding his future.
Man City Set to Part Ways with Club Legend
According to multiple reports, Man City have decided not to renew De Bruyne’s contract which expires in Jun 2025. The decision marks the end of era for the 33 year old who's made over 400 appearances for the club and helped them secure 6 PL titles and Champions league crown.
Liverpool Linked ــــ But Player Has Other Plans
While speculation linked Liverpool with potential move, Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri denied that the Reds had submitted any official offer.
He revealed that it was De Bruyne’s agency, Roc Nation that floated the player's name to liverpool not the other way around.
Crucially Tavolieri added that De Bruyne doesn't intend to continue in the Premier League. Instead he's eyeing move abroad with clubs from Saudi Arabia & the MLS leading the race.

Despite Napoli’s interest, the midfielder's reportedly prioritizing new adventure outside europe’s top leagues. He's made 36 appearances for City this season scoring 6 goals and providing 8 assists.
