Saudi Pro League: Hamdallah outshines Benzema

Former Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah has become the joint top scorer of the Saudi Pro League alongside Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Asfi native, who was signed during the summer transfer window, has been stealing the spotlight with his club Al-Shabab in the 2025-2026 season.

In the latest match against Al-Orouba in the 25th round of the competition, he netted 3 goals.

The 34-year-old has scored 18 goals this season in 20 league matches.

This puts him ahead of Frenchman Karim Benzema, his former teammate at Al-Ittihad, who is now third with 16 goals.

Hamdallah's phenomenal stats in the Saudi League

The former Atlas Lion is one of the standout scorers in the Saudi Pro League.

In 157 matches played, he has scored 147 goals and provided 22 assists. Throughout his career, he has netted 252 goals and delivered 41 assists.
