Serhou Guirassy in Conakry for the launch of his humanitarian association
Serhou Guirassy

Serhou Guirassy is expected in Conakry this Wednesday, July 9, to officially launch his humanitarian association. This project aims to support local populations through various social and educational initiatives.

The Guinean international returns to his homeland just days after Dortmund's elimination from the Club World Cup in the United States, where he scored four goals. The 29-year-old player has chosen the capital, Conakry, as the starting point for his philanthropic commitment. In partnership with the Simandou 2040 program and others, Serhou Guirassy will launch "the activities of his humanitarian association 'Africa Niorondema' by visiting orphanages, Quranic schools, as well as youth football teams."

During his stay, the prolific striker (44 goals this season) will also visit the local Guinean national team, which has qualified for the CHAN to be held next month in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, reports Guinée Foot Info.
