Serigne Fallou Diouf files a complaint with the FSF against Génération Foot for "breach of trust"

A new contractual dispute has erupted between the Génération Foot academy and one of its players. Serigne Fallou Diouf accuses the Senegalese club of breach of trust and document falsification.
Following the controversial departure of Amara Diouf, it is now Serigne Fallou Diouf's turn to take a stand against Génération Foot. On February 26, 2025, the young defender and U17 African champion decided to file a complaint with the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) for "breach of trust." According to reports from the local Senegalese press, the dispute concerns the duration and nature of the contract linking Serigne Fallou Diouf to Génération Foot.
The 18-year-old player claims to have signed a two-year contract, covering the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons. However, after several requests, his father (Mamadou Diouf) received three different versions of the contract from the club: an unsigned and unapproved contract, a five-year contract approved on October 10, 2023, and a two-year contract approved on the same date.
This situation has led Serigne Fallou to accuse Génération Foot of breach of trust and document falsification. In response, the club asserts that the signed contract is for three years, with an automatic extension of two additional years if the player is not transferred during his final contract year. Thus, according to the club, the contract would cover the 2023-2024, 2024-2025, and 2025-2026 seasons, with a possible extension until 2028.
The verdict from the FSF's National Dispute Resolution Chamber (CNRL) is now awaited.
