Servette FC lets Alioune Ndoye go despite impressive loan spell
Servette FC has decided not to exercise the purchase option for Alioune Ndoye, who was on loan from Valmiera FC since January. The Senegalese forward is thus leaving Geneva after six satisfying months, with no extension to his stay.
Arriving in January 2025 from FK Valmiera, Alioune Ndoye quickly adapted to his new surroundings and established himself as a key attacking asset for Servette. Featuring in 15 Swiss Super League matches, including 4 starts, he made his mark with 6 goals, notably finding the net in the final two rounds against Luzern and Lausanne-Sport.
Despite this impact, the Servette FC management has opted not to activate the purchase option included in the loan deal. This decision appears to be driven by financial considerations. Several other loaned players are also set to leave the club.
