Sessi D’Almeida arrives in Azerbaijan

Neftçi PFK has officially announced the signing of Beninese international Sessi D’Almeida. The 29-year-old midfielder joins the Azerbaijani club after successfully completing the customary medical examination.

Sessi D’Almeida has signed a two-year deal, with an additional year as an option. The transfer fee from Aris Limassol is estimated at 200,000 euros. Having joined Aris Limassol in July 2024 from Pau FC, the Beninese spent just one season in Cyprus, despite initially signing a two-year contract.

Sessi D’Almeida now embarks on a new chapter in Azerbaijan, aiming to make his mark in the heart of Neftçi’s midfield—one of the most decorated clubs in the country.
