Slavia Prague: Igoh Ogbu extends his contract

Slavia Prague can breathe a sigh of relief. Despite interest from several European clubs, Igoh Ogbu has chosen to continue his journey with the Czech side. The Nigerian centre-back has officially extended his contract for an additional season, keeping him at Slavia until December 31, 2027.

Arriving from Lillestrøm in January 2023, Igoh Ogbu quickly established himself as a cornerstone of Slavia's defense. Strong, committed, and consistent, he has won over the Eden Arena faithful and become an undisputed leader. In 92 appearances across all competitions, he has scored 5 goals, playing a key role in the club's recent successes.

At 25, the Nigerian international is proving his steady development. His contract extension is seen as a strong statement by the Slavia management, who are determined to keep their top players to remain competitive both domestically and in Europe.
