A recent report from the Spanish press reveals that one of FC Barcelona's players has decided to leave the club during the upcoming summer transfer window, after failing to convince German coach Hansi Flick.

According to the Spanish newspaper "SPORT", Ansu Fati (22), winger for FC Barcelona, has decided to pack his bags after realizing he is not part of Hansi Flick's plans. This season, he has played only 9 matches across all competitions, totaling just 191 minutes.

According to the same source, the Spanish player has tasked his agent, Jorge Manuel Mendes, with finding him a new club via a permanent transfer, not a loan.

His current contract with Barça runs until the end of June 2027, but Fati no longer wishes to extend his adventure beyond this season.

Alejandro Baldé happy about Fati's return

Meanwhile, defender Alejandro Baldé expressed his delight at Ansu Fati's return, who participated in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund, after a series of injuries.

He stated: "Ansu Fati is my best friend on the team. He has suffered a lot, and I am very happy he had this opportunity against Dortmund."
