According to Sports Digitale, the defender's house was robbed in Istanbul, amid rumours about his future at Fenerbahçe.

The local police are still investigating the circumstances of the incident, although no one was hurt, but they want to know the truth.

Doubts about his future in Turkey

Following the incident, the Nigerian defender moved some of his belongings to England, fuelling reports of a move to one of the Premier League or League One clubs in England, and although no official offer has been revealed, Premier League clubs are reportedly keeping a close eye on the player's situation.

Since joining Turkish league giants, Fenerbahçe, in 2021, he has become a regular starter for his team, making 176 appearances in all competitions, scoring just seven goals and providing numerous assists. This season, he has made 37 appearances and provided eight assists.

With the summer transfer window approaching, the defender is still unsure of his future and wants to weigh up his options to take the next step in his career.
