Sweden keeps an eye on Nigerian talent
At just 17 years old, Sadok Yohanna is already attracting attention far beyond Nigeria’s borders. According to Swedish outlet Expressen, scouts from AIK Football have made several trips to Nigeria to closely monitor the performances of the young winger from Ikon Allah FC.
The Stockholm club, always on the lookout for emerging talent from the African continent, is reportedly impressed by the player’s explosive potential. The plan? Bring him to Sweden this summer for a trial period. If satisfied, AIK would then allow him to train regularly with the first team while he waits to turn 18.
An official signing could only take place when he turns 18, in accordance with FIFA regulations on the international transfer of minors. For AIK, it’s a bet on the future but also a measured investment in a player whose potential already seems to be convincing.
