Stéphane Aziz Ki made a successful return to Young Africans. In his first start since rejoining the club, the Burkinabé midfielder played a decisive role in the 2-0 victory over Fountain Gate on Matchday 5 of the Tanzanian Premier League.

Starting the game, Aziz Ki delivered a superb assist to Peter Shalulile. The forward opened the scoring following a beautiful give-and-go between the two players. The 30-year-old midfielder thus got off to a perfect start in his second stint with Yanga.

A Successful Return

Aziz Ki returned to Young Africans on August 15 from Al Ittihad Tripoli. The Tanzanian club officially announced the midfielder’s return for two seasons. This marks a return to his roots for Aziz Ki, who had previously played for Young Africans for four seasons before leaving for Libya.

A 2-0 Victory for Yanga

Thanks to this win over Fountain Gate, Young Africans earned three crucial points in the league and are now in second place in the Premier League with 12 points—three points behind leader Simba and having played one fewer game.
