Amine Gouiri : "I would have loved to play with Drogba!"

Since his arrival at Olympique de Marseille at the start of the year from Stade Rennais, Algerian international Amine Gouiri has continued to impress. In a "Q&A" interview with Onze Mondial magazine, the Algerian striker expressed his admiration for Kylian Mbappé: "In my eyes, the best striker in the world right now is Kylian Mbappé."

He also revealed his dream of playing alongside a Marseille legend: "As a striker, I would have loved to play with Didier Drogba."

He elaborated on his choice, adding: "If I had to pick a legend from Olympique de Marseille to play with, since I’m a striker, I would have really liked to play with Didier Drogba. That would have been pretty great, I think."

For the record, Amine Gouiri wrapped up the second half of the season with an impressive tally of 14 matches played, 10 goals scored, and 3 assists, playing a pivotal role in Olympique de Marseille’s success. His performances were instrumental in securing OM’s qualification for the next Champions League.
