The transfer market: insane release clause in Zizo's contract with Al Ahly

Al Ahly, the Egyptian club, has inserted an insane release clause in their contract with the newly joined Ahmed Sayed Zizo.

According to Zamalek Today, the release clause is valued at 4 million euros, although other sources have estimated the figure much higher (9 million euros).

After reaching the end of his contract with Zamalek, the Pharaoh preferred to sign with his archrival.

This latest betrayal did not sit well with Zamalek fans, who quickly took to social media to attack their former star.

Al Ahly snatches Zamalek stars

The reigning CAF Champions League champion hasn't hesitated to snatch the gems of their Cairo rival in recent years.

After signing midfielder Emam Ashour, Al Ahly brought in Moroccan Achraf Bencharki in the last winter transfer window before recently acquiring Zizo.
