The world champion will face the Lions in a friendly in November
According to Argentine media, negotiations are underway to organize a highly anticipated friendly between Argentina and Morocco during the November international break.
Argentina β Morocco: A friendly match scheduled for November
Initially, the Argentine national team was set to play Angola and India. However, TyC Sports reports that the schedule may be revised so that both matches take place on the African continent, thus avoiding a trip to India.
If this option is confirmed, Morocco would be the main candidate for the second match, giving the "Atlas Lions" an excellent opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
The last meeting between the two sides dates back to March 2019 at the Grand Stade de Tanger, where Argentina came out on top thanks to a goal from Paulo Dybala.
It is worth noting that both the Argentine and Moroccan teams have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
