Thierno Barry targeted by Everton

Thierno Barry is attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League. The forward of Guinean descent, currently under contract with Villarreal until 2029, has now become Everton’s top attacking priority.

According to the latest reports, the English club has already submitted an offer exceeding €30 million in an attempt to convince the Yellow Submarine to part ways with their 22-year-old striker. David Moyes, the new manager of the Toffees, sees Thierno Barry as the ideal profile to inject fresh energy into his attacking line.

Having made his breakthrough in Ligue 2 with Sochaux, Thierno Barry quickly established himself as a complete striker, able to trouble defenses with his strength, mobility, and instinct for goal. These qualities won over Villarreal—and now, the Premier League as well. For the time being, no agreement has been reached between the two clubs.
