This Cameroonian impresses Aston Villa
Enzo Boyomo could be packing his bags this summer. The French-Cameroonian defender from Osasuna, who put in a rock-solid season in La Liga, is firmly on Aston Villa's radar. At just 23, he has established himself as a defensive cornerstone, featuring in 35 matches and netting 2 goals. His impact has not gone unnoticed across the Channel.
According to The Telegraph, the English club is closely monitoring his progress. This interest isn’t new—during the last winter transfer window, Unai Emery had already sounded out Braulio Vázquez, Osasuna’s sporting director, with whom he previously worked at Valencia. Since then, talks appear to have intensified.
Enzo Boyomo is under contract with the Spanish club until 2028, but his €25 million release clause leaves the door open for a move. Should a transfer happen, his former club Real Valladolid will receive 10% of the fee.
