Kamguia Léopold is embarking on a new chapter in his career. The 30-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper has officially joined Yangon Royals FC, a second division club in Myanmar. The announcement was made by the club itself via its official channels.

The former Indeni FC shot-stopper from Zambia has signed a one-year deal. It’s a short contract, but a major challenge in a league that’s still under the radar, where he’ll have the chance to establish himself as a key player. In his first words, Kamguia Kamguia expressed his excitement:

I’m delighted by the warm welcome from my teammates. I’m excited about the new challenges ahead and I’ll give my very best.

Known for his composure on the line and his positional awareness, he arrives with the goal of bringing stability between the posts for Yangon Royals. This ambitious team is counting on him to push for promotion. Now it’s up to him to deliver.
