Without a shadow of a doubt. Any young player in the world would love to play for Real Madrid if they were given the opportunity in their professional career. Even though the team is currently going through a period of poor form and their season has been less than favourable on all fronts, I have no doubt that the management will take advantage of the upcoming transfer window to sign names that will help them get back to the top of the table.

Carlo Ancelotti's departure and the birth of a new era for the Whites

This season will almost certainly be Carlo Ancelotti's final season at Real Madrid, and with the departure of Carlo Ancelotti, Xabi Alonso is expected to take over the reins from next season. Real Madrid will keep their existing stars such as Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe and all those stars, with the potential arrival of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, which is expected to be announced at the end of this season.

Names Real Madrid are interested in

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in several stars from La Liga and the Bundesliga, and one of the players they are interested in is Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi. With Toni Kroos gone and Luka Modric's career coming to an end, Zubimendi's price tag of €60 is not an obstacle for Real Madrid.

Florian Wirtz emerged as the standout talent in Xabi Alonso's historic Bayer Leverkusen squad that dethroned Bayern Munich's Bundesliga dominance. The dynamic playmaker has been in scintillating form, contributing 20 goals and 21 assists across his last 60 league matches - numbers that highlight both his creativity and end product.

While Antonio Rüdiger has firmly established himself among football's elite center-backs, Real Madrid's search for his ideal defensive partner continues. The rotation between David Alaba, Éder Militão, and Raúl Asencio has failed to provide the backline with much-needed consistency.

This presents Alonso with his first major reconstruction project at the Bernabéu. The solution might lie in a familiar face - Jonathan Tah. The German international offers multiple advantages: established chemistry with Rüdiger from national team duties, intimate knowledge of Alonso's system from their Leverkusen days, and crucially - an expiring contract.

The potential acquisition represents the kind of smart business Real Madrid has recently mastered: securing top-tier talent without the premium price tag, much like their shrewd move for Alexander-Arnold. Tah's leadership qualities and Bundesliga-proven reliability could provide the defensive stability Los Blancos have been craving.
