Top 5 most anticipated matches at the 2025 Club World Cup!

With just days to go before the kickoff of the 2025 Club World Cup, a historic edition set to take place in the United States and featuring 32 teams from across the globe, excitement among fans is running high.

Despite some skepticism over ticket prices, several fixtures are generating major buzz and drawing thousands of eager supporters looking forward to witnessing these prestigious showdowns.

According to the Spanish daily (Marca), the five most requested matches so far are:

  • Boca Juniors vs Benfica
  • Boca Juniors vs Bayern Munich
  • Real Madrid vs Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia)
  • Real Madrid vs Salzburg
  • Chelsea vs Flamengo

This strong demand highlights the immense popularity of clubs like Real Madrid and Boca Juniors, who are among the most followed teams on the planet. Their matches are naturally the center of attention, even with ticket prices on the higher side.

FIFA steps in to boost ticket sales

However, FIFA is concerned about ticket sales for the opening match between Inter Miami and Al Ahly (Egypt), as sales have so far fallen short of expectations despite the choice of Hard Rock Stadium, which boasts a capacity of over 65,000 seats.

To address this, FIFA has slashed ticket prices, now starting at $55 instead of the $349 originally announced in December 2024 during the group stage draw. The move aims to attract more local fans, as fewer than 25,000 tickets have been sold so far.

With the countdown underway, hopes remain high for a massive turnout—key to the success of this first expanded edition of the Club World Cup.
