TP Mazembe: Lamine Ndiaye vents his frustration!
In the midst of a crisis, TP Mazembe were once again held to a draw by AS Vita Club (0-0) in a Linafoot showdown, dropping precious points in the race for the top spots.
It was a frustrating display for the Ravens’ head coach, Lamine Ndiaye, who didn’t mince his words after the match:
“We should have killed the game off in the first half. We created chances, but our lack of efficiency cost us dearly. We let the opposition believe, and we put ourselves in trouble,” he analyzed candidly.
“The commitment was there, the desire too, but in the decisive areas, we lacked composure.”
Lamine Ndiaye: “You reap what you sow!”
Mazembe, now winless in three straight games, see their podium hopes slipping away. The Senegalese coach isn’t looking for excuses:
“You reap what you sow. Three defeats in seven matches, that’s not enough if you want to aim higher. We’ll have to question ourselves.”
Despite the disappointment, Ndiaye still holds out hope: “We can turn things around, but we need to find discipline in both boxes. Today wasn’t catastrophic, but it wasn’t good enough.”
