It’s official for Beninese defender Cédric Hountondji. The Benin Cheetah leaves SCO Angers for Bandirmaspor.

Bandirmaspor, a Turkish second division club, has officially announced the arrival of central defender Cédric Hountondji. The 31-year-old leaves SCO Angers and signs a two-year contract in Turkey.

The Benin Cheetah joined Angers in 2022 from Clermont and now arrives at a club that finished 4th last season in the second division.

Hountondji made 75 appearances for SCO, including 39 in Ligue 1, and scored 2 goals. He will play abroad for the third time in his career, having already featured for New York City and Levski Sofia.
