A British report has confirmed that Englishman Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool's right-back, has agreed to join Real Madrid on a free transfer during the next summer transfer window, after all contract terms have been finalized.

Alexander-Arnold is playing his final season with Liverpool, with his contract expiring on June 30, 2025. The "Reds" management has decided not to renew his contract, allowing him to negotiate with any club interested in his transfer at the end of the season, without needing the club's approval.

According to the British site "talkSPORT", the 26-year-old defender will leave Liverpool after reaching a personal agreement for a long-term contract with the Spanish club Real Madrid.

The same source also confirmed that negotiations between the two parties began in January and that Liverpool is informed of the development of the matter.
