Transfer market: Baghdad Bounedjah targeted by Al-Karma
Baghdad Bounedjah

Even though he recently extended his contract with Al-Shamal in Qatar, Baghdad Bounedjah remains a hot commodity in the Middle East. Al-Karma is eager to secure the services of the Algerian international.

After a season in which he played 23 matches, netted 18 goals, and delivered 9 assists, Baghdad Bounedjah convinced Al-Shamal to renew his contract—a deal that is now done. The Algerian striker is now tied to SSC until 2027. Despite this extension, Al-Karma is still dreaming of signing him.

According to information from Al-Maalouma, Al-Karma has already opened talks with Bounedjah. The Iraqi club’s management is reportedly offering a two-year deal with an option to extend. The package includes a very attractive salary, plus performance bonuses and incentives for participation in Asian competitions.

Qatari media have even confirmed these reports, adding that it is the most lucrative offer in Al-Karma’s history. Now, the decision is in Baghdad Bounedjah’s hands.
