Transfer market: FC Barcelona reaches agreement with Congo

As revealed by the Spanish press on Friday, July 11, 2025, FC Barcelona has signed a pact with Congo.

No doubt about it! For years now, FC Barcelona has been grappling with major financial difficulties. Forced to activate numerous economic levers (the famous palancas) to recruit and register new players, the Blaugrana club seems to have found a new financial partner.

Indeed, according to Sport, the Blaugranas have reached an agreement with the Congolese Ministry of Sports and Tourism. This contract will run for three seasons and will bring in €10 million per year for the Catalans.
