Wydad Athletic Club, led by president Hicham Aït Mena, is ramping up its efforts in the summer transfer market to strengthen its squad ahead of its participation in the Club World Cup, which will take place this summer in the United States.

With high expectations from its supporters, coach Mohamed Amin Benhashim is actively working to bolster the squad with talented players capable of making a real impact and driving the club towards its goals, both domestically and continentally.

According to several converging media sources, Wydad has officially signed Hamza Hannouri, the star of Fath Sportif. In addition, a verbal agreement has been reached with Tanzanian midfielder Stefan Aziz Ki, who currently plays for Young Africans. The club has also brought back its former defender Amin Abou Fath, who returns after a professional stint at Kuwait SC.

In the same vein, Wydad's management is turning its attention to Fily Traoré, a promising 23-year-old Malian forward playing for Libya's Asswehly. The club is in the final stages of negotiations to secure a definitive agreement, with the signing expected during this transfer window.

Fily Traoré, a natural center-forward, has stood out in the Libyan League with impressive stats: 12 goals and 7 assists in just 16 matches.

Wydad is aiming to bolster its attacking line with high-caliber signings, determined to make a statement at the Club World Cup and shine in all competitions next season.
