Transfer market: Mohamed Dieng leaves Génération Foot for Armenia
Mohamed Dieng is opening a new chapter in his young football career. The 21-year-old playmaker is leaving Génération Foot for Europe. He is joining FC Sardarapat in Armenia.
A standout season in Senegal
Trained at Jeunesse Foot Africa, Dieng is coming off an impressive season. He finished as the top assister in the Senegalese Ligue 1 with nine assists. He scored four goals. Wearing the Génération Foot shirt, he also played a major role in winning the Senegal Cup title in 2025.
Off to Armenia
His performances have attracted attention. FC Metz was among the clubs interested in recent months. Dieng chose Armenia. At FC Sardarapat, he will reunite with a compatriot, former AS Douanes defender Ousmane Konaté, with the aim of adapting to European football and aiming higher.
