Transfer market: Zamalek has found the "successor to Zizo" and is preparing its offer!
Egyptian media sources reveal that Zamalek's management has taken concrete steps to strengthen the right winger position during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The goal is to restore balance within the team and fill significant gaps, especially after Ahmed Sayed Zizo's surprise move to rivals Al Ahly (although the transfer has yet to be officially confirmed).
According to the Egyptian site Btolat, and an internal club source, Zamalek is seriously considering recruiting Algerian international Tayeb Meziani, a winger for MC Alger, during the next transfer market.
Meziani to Zamalek next season?
The same source states that the club shows a strong interest in the 29-year-old player, who is seen as the ideal replacement for Zizo.
It adds: "The player is among the profiles strongly considered to strengthen the team, and an official offer is being prepared."
Tayeb Meziani has already had several experiences in his career, notably with Paradou AC (Algeria), Le Havre (France), Abha (Saudi Arabia), as well as in the Tunisian league, where he played for Espérance Sportive de Tunis, Étoile du Sahel, and Club Africain, among others.
This season, he has played 14 matches with MC Alger, scoring one goal, without providing any assists.
