Transfer: OM sets sights on Ramy Bensebaini!

French media sources have confirmed Olympique de Marseille's interest in Ramy Bensebaini, the Algerian international defender playing for Borussia Dortmund, ahead of the summer 2025 transfer window.

According to the La Minute OM page, known for its close ties to the Phocaean club on the social network X, the player is at the top of the shortlist of potential recruits should the Aymeric Laporte deal fall through.

Having had a full season, Bensebaini played 41 matches across all competitions with Dortmund, scoring 3 goals and providing 6 assists.

Borussia Dortmund open to Bensebaini's departure!

Solid, experienced, and versatile, the Algerian international can play both as a left-back and a central defender. His market value is estimated at around 7 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.

According to German journalist Patrick Berger, Olympique de Marseille has made Bensebaini one of its priority targets to strengthen their defensive sector. However, despite concrete interest, no official contact has yet been established between the two clubs.

The same source indicates that Borussia Dortmund would not oppose the player's departure, provided they receive a satisfactory offer.
