Transfer window: It's over between Chiamaka Nnadozie and Paris FC
Chiamaka Nnadozie has officially left Paris FC. The Nigerian shot-stopper, who joined in 2020 from Rivers Angels, saw her contract expire on June 13, 2025, five years after establishing herself as a cornerstone of the club.
The end of the partnership between the Nigerian star and the Parisian side was announced this Friday, June 13, 2025, in an official statement. "Arriving at Paris FC in 2020 from Rivers Angels FC, Chiamaka Nnadozie immediately became a key player for the team. Voted best goalkeeper in the Arkema Première Ligue for 2023-2024, she leaves Paris FC after a fantastic Coupe de France triumph in which she played a pivotal role," the French club stated.
A rich journey and unforgettable performances
Over these five seasons, Nnadozie showcased impressive consistency, anchoring Paris FC's defensive line. Her knack for making crucial saves, reading the game, and staying composed under pressure often kept her side competitive against top-tier opposition.
During her time at the club, she racked up around 100 league appearances, notched 44 clean sheets, and posted a save percentage of 74%, according to Fbref. As the first African goalkeeper to feature in the UEFA Women's Champions League, she steered Paris FC to three consecutive qualifications for the competition. A Coupe de France winner with Paris FC, Chiamaka Nnadozie was named African Goalkeeper of the Year at the 2023 CAF Awards and picked up honors at the UNFP and D1 Arkema Trophies in 2024.
The next destination for the Super Falcons' number one remains unknown. However, the Everton rumor has been circulating for several weeks. According to the Nigerian press, a move to a Women's Super League club could be on the cards.
