Transfer window: West Ham sets price tag for Nayef Aguerd!
The future of Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd (29) at West Ham United remains uncertain, as the summer transfer window approaches, fueling intense speculation about a possible exit from the Hammers.
According to sources close to the London club's management, West Ham has set a hefty transfer fee, estimated at £25 million (around €29.7 million), to part ways with Aguerd.
Under contract until the end of June 2027, the player enjoys a solid contractual position, allowing the club to demand strict financial terms from any suitors.
So, will Nayef Aguerd leave West Ham this summer?
Manchester United is one of the clubs most interested in the Moroccan defender. In addition, several offers are also coming in from Italian Serie A clubs as well as teams in the Saudi Pro League.
This season, Aguerd played on loan at Real Sociedad, making 36 appearances across all competitions. While he didn’t score, his defensive solidity and consistency have made a strong impression, further boosting his appeal on the European market.
It's worth noting that the former Fath Rabat player will miss the next Moroccan national team camp scheduled for June, after picking up a new injury during his matches with Real Sociedad. This also applies to his teammate Nacer Mazraoui.
